CARLA EVERHART, PRESIDENT

Carla Everhart has had 20 years administering successful non-profit organizations. She has a Master`s in Public Administration (New Mexico State University). Her Bachelor`s is in Social Psychology.

Carla obtained certifications from Community Associations Institute (CAI), the national organization that trains and credentials professionals in Homeowners Association management. She holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations from CAI, one of only three individuals in Idaho to earn that credential, as well as the Association Management Specialist, the only Idahoan to hold that credential.

Carla trained with Ford Foundation to build effective housing collaborations and lead Community Development Corporations (CDCs). She worked with non-profit and faith-community developers to improve deteriorating neighborhoods in Kansas City and received the national Koch Crime Award for work closing inner-city drug houses in Kansas City.

Carla also trained with the Conflict and Dispute Resolution Center (CDR) in Colorado, and has extensive training in Mediation and Conflict Resolution.

She has a strong financial and fund-development background, having raised over $25,000,000 for various non-profits. She has been the Chief Professional Officer of organizations with budgets up to $5,000,000. She was awarded the "High Achiever" recognition in her work with United Way of America.

Prior to entering non-profit and association work, Carla taught at New Mexico State University. She also conducted the 4-part “Management Studies for Non-profit Agencies” in New Mexico, and initiated and taught in a 2-day seminar, “Legal Issues for Non-profits” in Kansas City.

Carla brings her experience to ADVANTAGE IDAHO ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT and provides quality service in managing homeowners associations, professional organizations, and membership organizations.

Carla has served as an officer of numerous community organizations including Kansas City and South Carolina Chambers of Commerce, and South Carolina and New Mexico Rotary Boards. She is currently Chair of the Garden City, Idaho Art Commission.

  • Prepares bids, selects contractors, and provides oversight for landscape, pools, waterfalls, roofing, etc. for 35 homeowner, condominium, townhouse and commercial associations
  • Designed and oversaw building of offices in South Carolina; renovated office building in Kansas City; built office building in Boise, Idaho.
  • Initiated Kansas City Non-profit Housing Collaborative
  • Member of County Disaster Response Team in Florence, South Carolina.

DON JOHNSON, ASSOCIATION MANAGER and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY [back to top]
Don Johnson holds both a four-year degree in engineering and a master’s in management. Don spent many years with Hewlett-Packard as an engineer and in marketing and management positions, and he served as an engineer with ConectL.

Don has spent much of his life in customer relations and brings those skills to Advantage Idaho to help ensure good relationships with all of our customers. He is also experienced dealing with safety concerns and acting as a Quality Assurance manager.

Don volunteers with several groups and serves on the board of directors for some. He was recognized with the Boy Scouts of America as an Eagle Scout and the District Award of Merit and Silver Beaver.

Don is the Information Technology guru for Advantage Idaho as well as an Association Manager for 7 accounts. He came to Advantage Idaho in 2005.

KATHLEEN HANSEN, CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR KEY ACCOUNTS/ASSOCIATION MANAGER [back to top]
Kathleen is an Association Manager and works with Key Accounts to ensure that all goes as smoothly as possible. She currently manages 7 associations.

Kathleen studied psychology at Boise State University. She is a licensed trainer in conflict resolution. Kathleen is currently taking classes in finances. Kathleen also has a strong background in events planning and theatre.

Kathleen will obtain her Certified Manager of Community Associations in the Spring.

Kathleen has been with Advantage Idaho since 2005 and continues to take on more key responsibilities for the company.


JIM ROSETTI, ASSOCIATION MANAGER [back to top]
Jim has a BS in Forestry Management from the University of Washington. After 35 years of federal service, Jim is a recent retiree from the federal government. His background includes working in forestry, wildland fire management, land use planning, management and environmental conflict resolution.

Jim has received numerous Certificates of Merit and Outstanding Performance Awards for his job performance. He was the BLM national program specialist in the areas of Fire Management Plans and Fire Program Analysis.

Jim first worked with Advantage Idaho as an association board president and Architectural Control Chair for a large subdivision. He is a recent employee of Advantage Idaho, since May 2006, and is learning all aspects of association management with Advantage Idaho. He currently manages 3 subdivisions.

MARY BETH GRIBBIN - BOOKKEEPER AND OFFICE MANAGER [back to top]
Mary Beth Gribbin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has accounting experience in both the private and municipal areas. She worked in the Finance Department of West St. Paul, Minnesota, performing all fiscal functions from payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, audit and budget preparation.

Mary Beth lived in the Atlanta, Georgia, area before moving to Boise, where she was in the accounting departments for commercial development, leasing, and property management companies, in addition to financial planning organizations. She also functioned as the Office Manager for three entrepreneurial organizations where she created and drafted policy handbooks, corporate presentations and newsletters.

In addition to an extensive property management accounting background, Mary Beth also brings superior organizational and technical abilities to Advantage Idaho. She is largely responsible for the remarkable collection rate that Advantage Idaho achieves.  

Mary Beth is the full charge bookkeeper for Advantage Idaho. She has been with us since 2002 and has obtained an incredible record in collections.

JOHN R. MEAGHER - MAINTENANCE MANAGER & ASSOCIATION MANAGER [back to top]
John has prepared civil engineering designs and plans, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates for various projects in Montana and Idaho including water lines and systems, sanitary sewer, storm drains, street light systems, signalized traffic intersection and roadways using survey data, GIS, GPS, ArcView and AutoCAD. He has supervised the laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, wood and steel to ensure compliance with the specification of the materials and insured that test equipment met strict requirements of ASTM, AASHTO, ACI and the American Laboratory Accreditation Association. He has provided construction inspections for designed facilities and reinforcement steel placement examination for multi-storied structures and dams.

John has prepared Maintenance and Operation budgets for the Ada County Highway District urbanized region and the Nampa Highway District # 1. He was responsible for 5 year budgetary plans for the City of Boise Public Works Sewer Engineering Sewer Rehabilitation program for the city’s 530 miles of sanitary sewer system.

John has been with Advantage Idaho since 2003. He is the key Maintenance Manager as well as an Association Manager.



JUDY WILSON, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRONT OFFICE MANAGER [back to top]
Judy worked for 10 years with Transpacific Management Service, one of the largest association management companies in California. She is well versed in dealing with vendors, homeowners, builders and developers.

Judy came to Advantage Idaho in 2006 to be the right-hand person for the President and to bring the benefit of experience in a larger management company to Advantage Idaho. She will be streamlining office procedures.
